POL Heteren B.V. strengthens position in signaling market with acquisition Weltronic Signalering Nederland

POL Heteren, a specialist in safety and signaling products, has acquired Weltronic Signalering Nederland. Conseiller provided legal guidance to the seller of Weltronic Signalering Nederland in the acquisition process.

Weltronic has been a trusted name in the signaling market for 19 years and importer/distributor of high-quality products from Juluen Enterprise Co of Taiwan. This strategic acquisition underlines POL Heteren’s ambition to be the complete supplier for signaling and vehicle safety in the Netherlands.

The integration of Weltronic’s business within POL Heteren offers customers a wider and deeper range of signaling products. ‘We are extremely pleased with the integration of Weltronic to our signaling business,’ says Ardjan van den Blonk, managing director of POL Heteren. ‘Together, we offer an even deeper and wider product range. Our service will improve further with this. Our ambitions to be a total supplier for vehicle bodywork companies, commercial vehicle fitters and garages comes another step closer because of this.’

Until the end of December 2024, Weltronic will continue to operate independently out of Westervoort. From 1 January 2025, operations will continue from the POL Heteren location. Mark Welling, (previous) owner of Weltronic, added: ‘Joining our forces will create a strong player in the national signaling market. I will remain involved even after the acquisition and will mainly be involved in product/range development at POL. I look forward to working with my team and POL Heteren to ensure a smooth transition and to serve our customers even better.’
