HST Group has acquired Noordendorp Transport and MIGRO Logistiek.
On Thursday evening 22 December, the directors of HST Groep and Noordendorp Groep, Gerard ter Brugge and Michel Wentink respectively, have announced the acquisition to their employees.
Noordendorp Transport is based in Haaksbergen. The main activities of the Noordendorp Groep are construction logistics, general cargo Benelux and Germany, including transport of dangerous goods. Noordendorp Transport has several warehouses with a total size of 25.000m2. With a history of over 100 years and the designation ‘Hofleverancier’, Noordendorp Transport is an established name in the region.
MIGRO Logistiek is a courier and transport company based in Zwolle. The company was founded in 1981 and has been part of the Noordendorp Groep since 1 July 2017.
The main reasons for the acquisition are longer-term business succession, the necessary growth in scale and further commitment to sustainability through electrification of logistics services. Noordendorp and MIGRO will continue under their own names within the HST Groep.
The acquisition of Noordendorp Groep is an asset for HST Groep, strengthening its operations in the transport market. In addition to HST Groep’s current 430 employees, the 85 employees, 35 trucks and 50 trailers are a considerable expansion. In the process, services will be further optimised in both freight transport and warehousing.
HST Groep, a family business located in Twente, offers its customers complete logistics solutions for road transport, fine distribution (TransMission), sea freight, air freight, warehousing, stock management, order picking and Value Added Logistics. Based in Enschede, Gronau and Haaksbergen, HST Groep now has 90.000m2 of storage space. With a fleet of 235 trucks and 475 trailers, HST Groep serves the Benelux, Scandinavia, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and Spain on a daily basis.
