Bis People joins House of Covebo and becomes part of Effect Personeelsdiensten

House of Covebo, previously Covebo Group and part of the European House of HR, has acquired 100% of the shares in Bis People from Hengelo. Conseiller was the legal advisor of Bis People in this transaction.

Founded in 2007 by Rutger Hoogwijk, Bis People, a specialist in the temporary placement of personnel in the construction and engineering sectors, will operate from 1 January 2023 under the name of Effect Personeelsdiensten. The specialist from Oldenzaal joined the Covebo Groep in 2017.

With a strong focus on temporary placement of job-specific personnel to national construction companies, Bis People is a valuable addition to the activities of Effect Personeelsdiensten. “Bis People is exceptionally well-specialized and provides many renowned construction companies with experienced personnel. We believe in the power of specialization and see a very valuable affiliation of Bis People to Effect Personeelsdiensten’, says Henk Buitink, CEO of House of Covebo. Effect Personeelsdiensten has grown in recent years into a regional player with approximately 400 professionals in construction and technology every day.

According to Rutger Hoogwijk, the current job market forces Bis People to grow. “In order to be able to continue to deliver the same quality to our customers, we had to take a step.  I was looking for a party to support Bis People in this respect. By joining Effect and Covebo, we can flourish in this niche market. With reinforcement in the field of recruitment and by unburdening the back office, we can continue to focus on supplying high-quality, skilled personnel.”

Bis People will continue under the name Effect Personeelsdiensten as of 1 January 2023. The operational management and composition of the Bis People team will remain unchanged. Rutger Hoogwijk remains involved in this new phase of the company.
